Personal Schedule / Shift Scheduling

Home > Admin Mode > Schedule > Personal Schedule / Shift Scheduling

From the Home page in Admin Mode, select Schedule, then select Personal Schedule / Shift Scheduling to open the scheduling page. After selecting a user, administrators can apply an existing shift template to specific dates. Multiple shifts can be assigned on the same day, but their times must not overlap. To delete a shift from a date, select that shift again.

After a shift has been assigned, later changes to its shift template do not affect or update the personal schedule automatically.

Clearing a Schedule

Home > Admin Mode > Schedule > Personal Schedule > Any User (Employee) > Clear

Open Personal Schedule, then select a user to view that person's detailed schedule. Administrators can use Clear to remove shifts within a selected date range. Before scheduling shifts for the next year, review and clear any old shifts that are no longer needed so earlier schedule data is not carried forward unintentionally.

Shift Deletion Restrictions

To preserve attendance data, the system prevents a shift from being deleted when related records already exist. Review these rules before deleting a shift.

When a Shift Cannot Be Deleted

  • The shift already contains a clock record.
  • The shift contains a pending or approved missed-punch request.
  • An administrator has added a clock record to the shift.
  • Schedule-based leave is enabled and the shift contains a leave record.
  • Schedule-based leave is enabled and the shift contains a pending or approved leave request.
  • Schedule-based leave is enabled and an administrator has added a leave record to the shift.

If the system prevents you from deleting a shift, check whether the shift contains any of the related records listed above.
