Group
Home > Admin Mode > Organization > Group
From the Home page in Admin Mode, select Organization, then select Group to open the Group Management page. The page lists three main types of information: Group, Managers, and Members. It shows every group and its related settings, helping administrators quickly review responsibilities and member assignments.
Group
The Group column displays group names such as Sales Department, R&D Team, Customer Service, and Marketing Department. These names represent functional units or project teams within the organization. Select the pencil icon beside a group name to edit it if you have the required permission.
Managers
The Managers column lists the administrators responsible for each group. An assigned manager has specific management permissions within that group. Select the plus icon beside the column heading or a group's manager list to choose an existing user and assign that person as a manager of the group.
Members
The Members column lists the members assigned to each group. Select the plus icon beside the column heading or a group's member list to choose one or more existing users and add them to the group.
Groups support detailed permission control and delegation. Assigning users to a group can limit a Manager to managing only the members and resources in that group. The Creator and Top Managers can manage all personnel and groups without these group restrictions. A Manager's scope is limited to the assigned groups, supporting least-privilege access and clearer responsibilities.
At the bottom of the page, select + Add Group to open the Add Group page. Enter a unique name in the Group Name field, which shows e.g., Marketing as an example. Save the new group, then assign its managers and members.
Reminder!
- Except for the Creator, Top Managers, and Managers, a General User can belong to only one group. This restriction keeps permissions simple, avoids conflicts caused by multiple group assignments, and makes each member's assignment clear.
- Users (employees) cannot join a group themselves. The Creator or a Top Manager must configure group membership in Admin Mode.
